Our Review of Cheat (Nueva Andalucía)

Cheat is the perfect answer to that moment when the family is hungry and needs food fast — but you don't want to resort to actual fast food. The burgers here are made with fresh Angus beef on homemade buns, the chicken is organic, and everything is locally sourced. It's comfort food done right, without the excessive unhealthiness.

The Cheater Burger — double patty, double cheese, bacon, grilled onions with their signature Cheat sauce — is the one to go for. The crispy chicken sandwich is excellent too, and the loaded fries are dangerously good. The kids will demolish the nuggets, mac and cheese, or a straightforward cheeseburger. Milkshakes are thick and proper.

The Nueva Andalucía location is the original, with a casual diner vibe — checkered paper, metal trays, fun and unpretentious. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and the energy is loud and lively without being overwhelming. It's the kind of place where nobody cares if the kids make a mess.
