Our Review of KEKI Bread & Pastry

KEKI is a proper artisan bakery tucked away in La Campana, Nueva Andalucía, and if you care about good bread, you need to know about it. Their sourdough is genuinely excellent — the kind of crusty, chewy loaf you'd expect from a serious European bakery. We started going for the bread and now it's a regular weekend stop.

Beyond the sourdough, the pastry display is dangerously good. The croissants are flaky and buttery, the pistachio croissants are stuffed with cream, and the cinnamon and cardamom buns are enormous. Everything is made with quality ingredients — certified butter and additive-free flour — and you can taste the difference. They do good sandwiches too if you want something more substantial.

The space itself is small but nice. There's a cosy interior with a handful of tables, and an outdoor terrace shaded by jacaranda trees that's lovely in spring when they bloom purple. It's not a big cafe — more of a grab-and-go bakery with some seating — but it works well for a quick coffee and pastry stop with the kids. The staff are friendly and the vibe is relaxed.

💡 Tip

It's on Avenida Miguel de Cervantes in La Campana. Street parking is easy to find nearby. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30am to 4pm — closed Sundays and Mondays. Get there early on weekends for the best selection of bread and pastries before they sell out.

If you're in the Nueva Andalucía area and want proper sourdough or a great pastry, KEKI is the place.
